Andrew Estel is Senior Vice President of Strategy. He is a member of the Alcoa Executive Team, which sets strategy for the Company. Andrew is responsible for corporate strategy, business development, corporate development, and non-operated joint ventures. Andrew and his team lead initiatives supporting Alcoa’s long-term strategy, growth opportunities, acquisitions, and the commercialization of our breakthrough technologies.
Andrew has led the strategy organization since August 2023. He joined Alcoa Inc. in 2012 and has held progressive roles in strategy, marketing, corporate development, and business development, with international assignments in France and Germany leading productivity initiatives and post-merger integration efforts at Alcoa Inc.
Andrew graduated from Wake Forest University in 2004 with a bachelor’s in music. He went on to earn his doctorate in music composition from Indiana University in 2009. After working as a professor of music at George Washington University, he completed his MBA in finance and economics at Carnegie Mellon University in 2012.
